Responsible to provide supervision and administration of the Operations Center Coordinators (OCC?s) including training, performance evaluations, scheduling, and the day to day operation of the Building Operations Center(BOC). Responsible to provide direction and supervision of the technical service employees. Manage and oversee the building automation and fire/safety systems, to include maintaining the system integrity, consistency, and setting system standards. Monitor, collect, and maintain all regulatory required documentation. Coordinate the service requirements (scheduling and communications) of the campus elevators. The position will also provide 24/7 on-call coverage on a rotational basis. Occasional emergency response will also be required during unscheduled times to include weather-related events and staffing issues.
Either (a) An Associates degree in a technical program plus 4 years of maintenance or operations related work experience and 6 months of supervisory/lead experience required or (b) 6 years of maintenance or operations experience and 6 months of supervisory/lead experience required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Strong communication and organizational skills Strong customer service skills Building automation systems experience and strong computer skills
Associates Degree or higher is preferred 2 years of supervisory/lead experience in a facilities maintenance organization preferred
