Sourcing Lead - Supply Chain

The Sourcing Lead is responsible for leading the sourcing and supplier selection for a group of categories and departments, with a special focus on the Facilities and Engineering categories, including HVAC, Energy, Infrastructure, and Labor. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for making decisions on the intersection of cost, quality and outcomes, with consideration of impact to departments and patients within the health care system.
This individual negotiates with vendors, and leads the process of award of contractual agreements for the health system. Prepares all analysis and pertinent information to leadership of the Value Analysis Team, and takes the initiative in the coordination of said meetings. Heads specific projects related to sourcing and new procedures and initiatives.
The Sourcing Lead works closely with senior Facilities and Engineering stakeholders, as well as other senior employees, and takes an active role in leading engagement, strategy development and execution of new contracts. Regularly meets with client areas and supply chain representatives, and implements best practice sourcing strategies for all assigned categories. This individual will be considered the Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert in the categories of Facilities and Engineering. Roles & Responsibilities:
