The Enterprise Architect II is a technical lead resource within the CHRISTUS Information Services organization. Leads in the analysis of business and operating models, market trends and technology industry to determine their potential impact on the enterpriseâ€™s business strategy, direction and architecture. The candidate should have extensive technical knowledge and experience in multiple core technology areas and integration, along with strong planning and problem-solving skills. Also, should have a good working knowledge of different types of methodologies when it comes to design and solution architecting of Healthcare Hospital systems.Â
Assists in the development of the information system vision and strategy of the organization; assist in the development, implementation, communication and promotion of strategic and tactical plans.
Researches and performs market analysis of various tools and provide recommendation
Evaluates proposed system acquisitions and provides critical input to the decision-making process relative to compatibility, resource requirements, operations and maintenance; develops plans and recommendations to improve the performance and efficiency of assigned systems; addresses all aspects of assigned systems, including hardware, software, outside services, etc; considers cost -effectiveness.
Assisting in aligning business and enterprise initiatives with the Enterprise Architecture
Evaluate internal functions, business development strategies and IT processes and suggesting improvements
Creating business architecture models to reflect the organizationâ€™s strategies and goals; providing business architecture and system processing guidance
Monitor digital trends and exploring digital opportunities based on strategy
Assist and Develop creating a Reference Architecture; guide and lead solution architects
Implement in the development of value propositions and execution of a communication and education plan for the enterprise architecture practice.
Construct future and current state business models
Assist in the creation and maturing of the enterprise architecture practice.
Formulates, translates, advocates, supports and executes business and IS strategy to achieve the organizationâ€™s targeted business outcomes.Â
Bachelorâ€™s degree in Computer Science, Architecture, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred, or four years of relevant experience required. Extensive technical knowledge of Healthcare Hospital systems, databases, networks, operating systems and Information Management â€œBest Practicesâ€�, including: local and wide area networking, network protocols and routing; network, server, and host operating systems; Interoperability, data storage and retrieval systems; system backup and recovery; IP networking, internet and intranet technologies; email, groupware, office automation and collaboration technologies; voice and/or data communications; voice and/or data networking; video conferencing and telemedicine; server hardware, software, and administration. Project Management Technical and Analytical Problem solving Leadership Multi-tasking ability Time Management Vision Five years of increasingly responsible Enterprise architecture experience in Healthcare Hospital systems environments with a wide variety of Information Services applications and technologies is required. Also requires specialized technical and procedural knowledge of system hardware/software, system administration, operations, problem identification/resolution, system documentation, and project management. Experience in of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies Business process analysis and design, and service delivery, particularly with respect to the use of information, EMR, ERP and CRM systems Prior experience in a health care systems environment is a definite plus. TOGAF, Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or certification in Unix, Cisco, or other core technologies.Interpersonal communications
