Trinity Health seeks a highly professional, visible, and gifted at ensuring facilities design and construction efforts for their newly created Senior Director of Facilities role. This position has been created as a succession plan for the retiring Vice President of Facilities.
The Senior Director of Facilities will assist in the planning of immediate and long-term projects. This key leader will organize, direct, and manage facility services, to include building maintenance and repair, space allocation, contract administration, and oversight of construction. The Senior Director of Facilities will assist in giving proper strategic direction and implement a vision within the department that supports, and is consistent with, Trinity Health strategic plans.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, Architecture, or Public Administration. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Accredited as a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) or Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) and/or eligibility to take exam.
The preferred candidate will have a minimum of five years of previous work experience in a leadership role within Facilities Management in a Health Care environment
Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and other regulatory standards such as OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and state affiliated agencies as well as knowledge of applicable building codes.
