The role of the Solution Architect - Telecom covers multiple areas:
Drive the direction and overall design and planning for how our telecommunications systems/hardware/software are implemented and integrated with our overall infrastructure.
Strategy and design, along with leadership/oversight for ongoing support relating to hosted voice telecoms systems and call centers across all areas of Tenet.
Strategy and design, along with leadership/oversight for projects relating to hosted voice telecoms systems and call centers across all areas of Tenet.
The ability to bring knowledge and experience to all other areas of voice telecoms including, but not limited to, carriers, PBX, voicemail, call management and hardware support.
The ability to work with third party vendors in relation to technology, services and contractual term discussions.
Ability to talk up/down the leadership chain from a technical or business strategy position.
Extensive experience/proven successes migrating from legacy systems to modern VoIP platforms
Understanding of challenges associated with migrations and strategies to resolve
Experience in multi-vendor environments
Strategic thinker able to identify and resolve complex telecommunication challenges through creative thinking and strategic resolution
Minimum of 10 years of Voice/Data Telecom experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing or working in an outsourced IT Team and/or vendor management
Strong communication skills
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
Nice to have: understanding of other technical disciplines
End User Services (Service Desk, Field Services, Assets, etc.)
