Position Summary: As a member of the Client Services team, the Senior Project Manager works independently to plan, monitor, and manage multiple, diverse medium to large projects of high complexity across multiple teams, departments, service centers and client locations that have a direct impact on the organization and are highly visible. The Senior Project Manager will act as a single point of accountability on assigned projects, secure required resources, use project controls and standards, and ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs. The Senior Project Manager must demonstrate a strong commitment to stakeholder relationships by proactively communicating and taking ownership of risks and issues, and by facilitating effective outcomes in a timely manner. The Senior Project Manager may also be responsible for the management of additional assigned Project Managers, Project Coordinators, or Project Specialists. The Senior Project Manager is expected to spend time within our facilities and critical areas to maintain a firm understanding of operations to ensure project methodologies and implementation strategies are designed and executed with the patient at the heart. Travel will be as necessary to support various departmental initiatives. To be successful within our department project managers should have a passion for innovation and revolutionizing healthcare. Minimum Requirements: Healthcare operational working knowledge Familiarity with software methodology and tools, certifications, training or additional experience Financial services, hospital operations, supply chain, or IT optimization/implementation experience Microsoft Office Proficiency Familiarity with various project methodologies such as SCRUM and agile preferred MultiCare and MultiCare-based systems knowledge preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications: CAPM, PMP, and LEAN certifications preferred Epic Certification preferred
