Position Information:
The SCCM Engineer is responsible for providing reliable, effective, and efficient client-side computing environments across all WakeMed locations. Provides input to the current architecture, planning, and maintenance strategies of the enterprise desktop, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and mobile device environments. Executes and maintains best practices for desktops, laptops and clients including but not limited to system image management, software deployment, application packaging process deployments, patch management, inventory management, compliance reporting, license auditing and device naming convention. Provides tier 3 technical support to the Desktop and Client Services Technicians and closely collaborates with Service Desk and Infrastructure teams.
Experience Requirements:
4 Years Information Technology - Design, Maintain, Implement Desktop Environments And Information Technology - PowerShell Scripting And Information Technology - SCCM Administration And Information Technology - Audio Visual In Large-scale User Environment Required - With Associate's Degree In Healthcare - Multi-Hospital System Preferred - And 6 Years Required - With High School Diploma
Education Required:
Associate's Degree In Information Technology Or Computer Science Or Related Field Preferred - Or High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - Or Equivalent Experience
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
A+ Certification Or Network Technology Or Microsoft Or System Center Configuration Manager Preferred
