Job Summary
Works with Project Management team to provide operational insight, administrative leadership, and consultation on facility master planning functions and opportunities in support of the organization's strategic plan. Collaborates with project sponsors and applicable departments to prepare business plans. Assists with the development and management of new projects from initiation through occupancy. Provides input into project plans and acts as point person for specifically assigned projects.
Job Duties
- Facilitates regular cross-functional project team meetings.
- Manages coordination for all project components, including policies and procedures, scheduling, documentation, implementation and assessment.
- Identifies who should be part of Project Team and develops communication plan.
- Collaborates with the Project Team to proactively assess and analyze any risks and issues that may compromise Project Team performance and results.
- Where applicable, develops plans to remove or mitigate identified risks and issues.
- Maintains risk and issue logs.
- Proactively identifies changes in work scope and ensures appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external resources to reassess, renegotiate, and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts, and budgets.
- Develops detailed task lists and work effort assessments based on input from all key players and team members.
- Manages equipment lists, places all project equipment orders through applicable management system and Supply Chain, tracks deliveries, and communicates received equipment for accurate payment.
- Oversees equipment installation and mitigates any equipment concerns prior to and during project go-live.
- Provides transition planning for new construction and renovation projects and streamlines any changes to patient care operations.
- Responsible for the following: transition and occupancy plan, budget development and tracking, medical equipment planning and coordination, FFandE planning and procurement and delivery and installation, operations workflow planning, staff orientation and training, on-site move management, and closeout services.
- Works with project management team and leadership to manage a portfolio of projects; monitors and communicates project status, timelines, and issues to key stakeholders in a timely manner and uploads information into software system.
- Develops appropriate performance metrics for program.
