SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Cyber Defense Infrastructure Engineering Manager (CDIEM) will report to the Director of Cyber Defense Operations (CDO) and will lead the General Engineer and Firewall Engineer teams. The CDIEM will be responsible to ensure successful performance of the Cyber Defense Infrastructure Engineers (General) and Cyber Defense Infrastructure Engineers (Firewall) in order to enable mission objectives. This includes support of the Penn State Health Office of Cybersecurity mission to Prevent, Detect, Analyze, and Respond to threat activity (internal or external), information system vulnerabilities, and cyber incidents; strengthen Penn State Health's ability to defend against sophisticated and emerging cyber threats; and enable mission recovery more quickly from attacks and incidents originating in cyberspace. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Bachelors Degree required. 

Ten (10+) years of hands-on experience required.
