The role you’ll contribute:
Facilities and Pathways Coordinator serves as a member of the Education Department. This position plays a robust role in the Pathways to Excellence Program, survey readiness, and program planning management, and education for the hospital. This position is responsible for coordinating the integration of Pathway to Excellence® Standards into nursing and hospital infrastructure. This person provides leadership and direction for Nursing Services by meeting and exceeding selected standards of nursing excellence. The Facilities and Pathways Coordinator assists in coordinating and interpreting the data of the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI) for patient outcomes and nursing satisfaction.

Leads Pathways to Excellence committees, plan agendas, and ensure minutes are taken and communicated.
Chairs the Continuous Survey Readiness Committee
Chapter representative for the NPSG section
Provides guidance and mentoring for members of nursing committees
Facilitates development of shared leadership system
Research strategies regarding shared leadership systems
Facilitate education and training for shared leadership system
Make recommendations to committees regarding shared leadership model and mentor staff nurses in their roles on the committees
Coordinates documentation, designation, redesignation, and biannual reports for Pathways to Excellence
Qualifications
The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:
BSN required; MSN preferred
Current RN Georgia license
Strong organizational skills, including completing work by established deadlines
Skills to develop and engage in educational activities to facilitate learners' achievement of specific objectives
Minimum 3 years acute care experience in med/surg & ICU
BLS required
