The Client Liaison partners with assigned Client Managers to maintain and grow existing larger employer group clients and ensure that positive account relationships are maintained. Assists in the preparation of proposals, meeting materials and/or sales collateral during the account renewal process. Serves as the client relationship liaison between group administrators and internal departments for problem resolution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Partners with assigned Client Managers to maintain and grow existing business and ensures positive account relationships are maintained. Assists in the preparation of benefit design analysis for specialized proposals and quotes. Develops detailed specifications for implementation of new products for clients.
Supports customers during the implementation of sales contracts and throughout the relationship by resolving difficult issues in a timely and professional manner; takes responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty. Maintains accurate and complete client files, including tracking client history for making informed decisions.
Creates documentation and processes to ensure effective communication via work plans for all account implementation activities. Ensures member communications accurately describe health plan programs and capabilities.
Analyzes operational business problems, provides problem resolution, and effects change. Leverages internal resources to bring the best service and problem resolution to assigned accounts.
Works closely with the sales support operations responsible for account processing and set-up to ensure accurate and seamless service delivery. Functions as the primary contact for the resolution of the day to day escalated account service issues.
Plans and conducts effective open enrollment meetings that yield results according to the sales strategy. Encourages employers to conduct open enrollment sessions, health and wellness presentations and health fairs as appropriate.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills required. Public speaking skills preferred.
Able to prioritize workload and set expectations to deliver a high level of client satisfaction.
Skill in the use of computers and related software required.
