JOB SUMMARY

The Principal End User Architect provides leadership for Desktop Engineering, Integrations team function. Takes business requirements and creates new Desktop deliver capabilities. Determines the workstation environment, provides an enterprise base image for the end point, supports enterprise software installs, leads quality assurance, and push final documentation. Coaches the development of team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Team lead, some administrative duties.
• Deploys software, patches and updates.
• Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures.
• Understand policies to ensure the day-to-day procedures are in support.
• Audit standard procedures which validate procedures and controls in place.
• Assists with Strategic Planning and short- and long-term roadmaps.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES

• Strong background in Microsoft Endpoint Manager, specifically for Windows 10/11 devices.
• Understands Microsoft 365 products including Office, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of supporting technologies including but not limited to: Windows Update for Business, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft Configuration Manager, conditional access policies, and strong authentication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to both technical teams as well as senior leaders.
• Ability to partner with internal and external business partners.
• PowerShell experience, and ability to understand other scripting languages.
• Familiar with Microsoft 365 licensing and feature management.
• Familiar with Microsoft Information Protection features, including Azure Rights Management and Unified Labeling.
• Relative certifications and experience a plus.
