The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Lake Wales
AdventHealth Lake Wales is a licensed 160-bed hospital, with 24-hour emergency care and outpatient services including imaging, rehab, lab and wound care, that has been serving the community and surrounding areas.
As a part of the AdventHealth network patients will have greater access to a wide range of innovative therapies, new research, leading-edge technology and an extensive team of medical specialists.
Lake Wales is located in Central Florida in between Orlando and Tampa and is home to the Historic Bok Tower Gardens and Bird Sanctuary.
The role you’ll contribute:
Assures compliance with codes and standards for the department and hospital with regards to AHCA, TJC, NFPA, ADA, OSHA (life safety and emergency preparedness).Coordinates all aspects of Environment of Care Committee.Manages and coordinates all aspects of Safety Tours, Fire Drills, Disaster drills and other Emergency Drills. Hospital liaison and representative with all City, County, State and Federal Agencies. Develops, coordinates and presents all safety related orientation, education and training to staff.

Assures compliance with codes and standards for the department and hospital with regards to AHCA, (life safety), TJC (life safety, EOC and emergency preparedness), NFPA, ADA, OSHA and other applicable regulatory
Assures all required tests, inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on safety related equipment and systems are properly performed on time.Assures deficiencies are risk assessed for ILSM and corrected according to Policy
Establishes and maintains all safety and regulatory related documentation
Coordinates all activities of and recommendations from outside consultants, vendors, surveyors and inspectors as they relate to safety and code compliance
Coordinates all aspects of the Environment of Care Committee
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Two years' experience with AHCA and TJC
Associate's degree or equivalent with code compliance and regulatory
Driver's License
