The Maintenance Technician is responsible for meeting the needs of the internal and external Hospital customer and supporting the department by providing a variety of Maintenance services. Services include installing, repairing, inspecting, maintaining and troubleshooting all mechanical equipment in accordance with hospital standards and policies. This individual also maintains heating ventilating, and air conditioning systems, operates and maintains automation systems and performs preventative maintenance and assists with other Maintenance Department functions as necessary.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent plus additional training in equipment repair, electricity, plumbing, carpentry and painting
Minimum nine months experience in general maintenance preferably in a hospital environment
Valid Wisconsin driver?s license.Must also meet additional criteria defined in our Driver Eligibility Policy
Ability to read, perform math calculations, and record keeping
Effective communication and interpersonal skills and behavior
Knowledge of safety procedures, equipment repair, electricity, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
