POSITION SUMMARY:   Performs general maintenance and engineering repairs to hospital owned buildings and equipment in accordance with diagrams, manufacturer's manuals using hand and power tools.  Equipment to be repaired includes, but is not limited to: beds; patient room equipment; electrical wiring including lights; switches; receptacles; panels; motors; controllers; plumbing systems; boilers; steam lines and condensate lines; generators; medical gas systems; and associated equipment; HVAC units; motors; control systems; telephone systems, changing filters, belts, and cleaning of coils.  Will possibly be called upon to do light carpentry, painting, plastering, tile and carpet laying, masonry work, roofing repairs, and possibly moving
