Engineer-Information Services Senior

Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Informatics & Information Services leadership team in the role of Engineer-Information Services Senior. This is a Direct Hire, full-time remote role.

Scope:

• Fulfills customer requirements via design/build/test/troubleshoot/document activities for enterprise-class datacenter computing hardware, software, networking tools and platforms.
• Evaluates, analyzes, configures, and implements new products and tools while ensuring appropriate operational monitoring is enabled.
• Provides comprehensive support for logical networking and communications protocols, Microsoft products, Intel and midrange platforms, relational databases, and programming/scripting.
• Works on complex applications and/or projects.
• Mentors and assist other team members.

Key Relationships:

• Reports to: Executive Director of Information Services

Candidate Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

• 5-7 years of experience required.

• Cloud platform experience preferred.

• Healthcare, health insurance and health providers' experience and understanding of processes is preferred.

• Requires experience working with vendors to quote moderately complex solutions.
