Auto Mechanic
JOB SUMMARYThe Automotive Mechanic is accountable for periodic servicing of fleet vehicles which includes, but is not limited to, oil changes, refilling the fluids, examining belts, hoses, tires, and battery for normal wear and tear, and other basic maintenance on vehicles. This position may be asked to do minor repairs and to troubleshoot root causes of problems found with the vehicles. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEPerforms a wide range of tasks relative to basic auto repair and periodic servicing of vehicles in the fleet. Diagnoses the root cause of problems found in the vehicle.Repairs as appropriate or refers the vehicle for more extensive repair and maintenance to the proper outside auto servicing agent, such as
