Overview
St. Lukes Health System in Boise, IDis seeking an IHT Systems Engineer 3 to join our Windows/Cloud Engineering team.
Unit/Position Summary
This role is responsible for managing all aspects of AD including DNS, OU structure, group management, security management, and AAD. In addition, we manage federation relationships, PKI infrastructure, Azure, AWS, and M365.
Under minimal supervision, the IHT Systems Engineer 3 applies creativity along with sound engineering principles to evaluate, design, develop, implement and administer systems, applications, networks and/or associated infrastructures and specialty equipment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft AD and OSs, cloud-based IaaS environments, scripting, monitoring, and config management.
- Perform assessments to identify areas for improvement, provide escalation to operational teams as requested
- Proactively monitor the health and capacity of our server environment
- Ability to manage several complex tasks/projects simultaneously
- Good understanding of networks, storage, clusters, IaaS and automation
- Experience in a healthcare environment using Epic and Cach is a plus.
- Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing systems and features.
- Develops and manages documents and standards for support.
- Works with other functional groups to establish and improve processes; develops and implements policies and procedures governing specialty Engineering discipline.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Experience: 4 years of experience in an IT engineering role.
