Job Summary
The Learning Experience Designer 1 supports the organization's strategic priorities by designing, developing, and delivering learning programs.
Hybrid position, must live in Texas and be able to travel to Dallas for multiple meeting throughout the year.
Essential Functions of the Role
Partners with clients, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to know about and clarify needs and appropriate interventions and scope.
Partners with senior team members and management to plan, design, develop, implement, and deliver learning solutions. These solutions align with Talent strategies to enhance personal and organizational effectiveness and satisfy clients.
Selects and uses teaching aids and learning materials to meet business and client needs. Uses adult learning best practices and technologies.
Collects assessment and client feedback data to establish effectiveness of learning and development solutions and improve offerings.
Applies continuous improvement processes to ensure quality Talent interventions and services based on evaluation, feedback and business needs.
Works under senior team and management to apply technologies like e-learning, videos, podcasts, mobile learning, and social learning as needed.
Develops online courses and evaluation tools that meet LMS governance and e-learning design standards.
Conducts evaluation of learning technology solutions to ensure they are meeting the needs of the organization.
Key Success Factors
Basic knowledgeable of adult learning.
Excellent social, listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-orientated, self-starter and can work alone.
Knowledge of BSW policy and procedures.
Knowledge of customer service values and practices.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
ServiceNow (or other ticketing software) experience a plus.
Two years of learning design experience strongly preferred.
Cornerstone LMS, Vyond, Kahoot, and Canva experience strongly preferred.
Articulate Rise and Storyline 360 proficiency strongly preferred.
